With workplace mental health becoming a growing priority for Canada's leading employers, General Electric Canada reached out to Mensante Corporation, Canada’s leader in online mental health assessment and treatment, to provide FeelingBetterNow(R) to its employees across Canada. With FBN, employees at GE Canada can confidentially and anonymously assess their mental health and triage seamlessly to the right care provider, such as EAP/EFAP counselling, self-care options such as e-CBT or from medical professionals. FBN allows employees to identify their problems early and seek appropriate care, before needing to go on disability leave.
FeelingBetterNow(R) is available to over 1,000,000 Canadians. In 2008, Dr. Ozersky, the founder and CEO of Mensante Corporation, received the Community Based Physician Innovation Award from COACH, Canada’s Health Informatics Association.
